Sony Network Entertainment is looking for a senior level engineer to join an established, high performance team in the SoMa district of downtown San Francisco. The successful candidate will primarily

support continued development on PlayStation™Now, a cutting-edge, first-to-market service that allows customers to instantly stream hundreds of AAA PlayStation games to their PlayStation®3,

PlayStation®4, PlayStation®Vita, and even directly to Bravia televisions.
The ideal candidate will come from an object oriented development background and be enthusiastic about front end web technologies which millions of customers around the world interact with daily.
Creating digital commerce solutions for our game streaming service PlayStation Now, PlayStation Store, and Sony Entertainment Network's suite of media services
Architecting and developing core system user interfaces for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and future flagship Sony devices and services
Connecting PlayStation users via rich, cutting-edge social experiences
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
A minimum of 7 years of Software Development experience
Expert in object oriented, asynchronous JavaScript
Proficient in HTML5 / CSS3, Node.js
Experience in developing high-performance user interfaces
Driven and passionate about producing amazing software
Works above and beyond set expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
C/C++
WebGL
Canvas2d
C#/Python
RESTful API's
Test-driven development, use of unit/functional testing and automation
Experience with memory and performance optimization on mobile devices
