Required Skills:
Provides technical expertise, subject matter expertise for daily operations and related projects based on business requirements as requested by supervisor
Ability to use SQL to SELECT, SORT, GROUP, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE DB2 data, Ability to use scripts for automating day to day tasks
Desired Skills:
-Troubleshoot, identify factors that negatively influence system performance, investigate for root cause and apply corrective countermeasures
-Experience, knowledge to install, configure and manage monitoring tools for IBM hardware and software environment and IBM or EMC storage system
-Experience in creating and managing WebSphere MQ message queues, ensure DB2 Q-Replication and configure and deploy applications to run in IBM WebSphere environment
-Strong communications skills, customer service mindset
-Work assignment location is Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, LLC Greensburg, IN potential for North America travel to other Honda facilities
-Ability to work in a fast paced, open work environment where production or system downtime requires immediate attention even if cause is unknown
-Overtime, frequency depends on business needs and support requirements for HMIN production infrastructure
-On call availability, PC equipment and access provided for quick response to incidents , anytime: providing support, troubleshooting and resolve remote or onsite
-Weekend and or adjusted shift required to execute and verify systems changes for application, GALC hardware or software
