Role:                    SQL-Oracle Developer

Location:             Princeton, NJ

 

Required Experience:

 

•           Overall 7+ years of industry experience

•           Hands-on experience on Oracle (11g, 10g, 9i) databases applications development using Oracle Packages, Stored Procedure, and Functions on Windows

•           Experience in large database development on Oracle Database

•           Experience with tuning and optimizing performance on backend process, complex SQL, PL/SQL packages and Analytic SQL

•           Basic knowledge of Oracle Database administration issues (ie schema, user, role, security)

•           Strong Experience with the Oracle Optimizer plans and hints

•           Strong experience with optimizing physical data models (table definition, indexes, range and hash partitioning)

•           Experience with ETL involving large amount of data, in particular flat files parsing and loading into Oracle database

•           Financial industry knowledge is beneficial

•           Intermediary process flow and business analysis capabilities

•           Ability to work independently with minimum guidance in a fast paced environment

•           Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to take initiatives and solve problems

•           Experience of working in an Agile environment

•           Creating and updating technical documentation, and ability to provide end to end solutions

•           Working closely with .Net development team and Business Analysts to understand business perspective, functional and technical requirements

 

Required Technical Skills:

 

•           Oracle Database Development, PL/SQL

•           Experience with ASP.Net, C# and .Net Framework (advantage)

•           Experience with tuning and optimizing performance on backend process, complex SQL, PL/SQL packages and Analytic SQL

•           Hands-on experience on Oracle (11g, 10g, 9i) databases applications development

 

Required Personal Skills:

 

•           Good team player with excellent communication skills interfacing various onsite and offsite teams

•           Critical thinking and problem solving

•           Strong in both analysis and design

•           Raises issues early, takes technical direction well

•           Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
