Job Description:
Position : Software Performance Engineer
Duration : 6 Months
Location : Cambridge, MA
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of benchmark testing, performance analysis using industry standard benchmarks
• Experience with agile software practices and managing work across more than one project
• BS Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical data
• Ability to identify and resolve system bottlenecks
• Ability to identify potential limitations in software architectures
• Understanding of performance monitoring counters such as throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization
• Working knowledge of C, C++ and/or Java
• Familiarity with Intellij IDE, Git, Gradle and Sonar
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring and instrument tools such as AQTime for C/C++ and/or NewRelic for Java
• Familiar with automation testing tools such as TEST/NG and Selenium
• Familiarity with software deployment process and tools such as Jenkins
• Strong knowledge of load generation /measurement software JMeter
• Ability to write clear and concise technical documents
