Technical/Functional Skills:
• Should be good in DB2 and SQL.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience with good communication skill.
• Team Coordinating and Leadership qualities.
• Should have prior experience in BI Reporting tools.(Cognos , BO )
• At least 2-3 years experience in Tableau.
• Knowledge on Financial and real estate domain is big plus
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This person will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining the business applications. Assisting in evaluating client needs, analyzing business requirements, and defining information systems and reporting solutions to address complex business needs. This role will also have business intelligence responsibilities and requires previous experience with the design and creation of reports.
• Program Specifications and Interface Control Documents – is responsible for updating existing documentation or creating new documentation when new functionality or reporting is added.
• Software Development – is responsible for all coding, database definitions, data loads, and all supporting elements required for the running of the application.
• Developer Testing – is responsible for individual program unit testing across programs and developing test cases to ensure completeness of work. This is to be done prior to the release of the work to the business testers working with the Development Manager.
• Scripts/Data Migration/Security considerations – is responsible for identifying the components that will need to be migrated into the testing environment (writing data scripts, security, data imports, third party application interfacing, etc…).
• Quality Assurance Testing documentation and Quality Assurance test support of application .
• Assist in application development releases within SDLC.
• Candidate must have highly developed analytical, conceptual, quantitative and problem-solving skill sets.
• Position requires the ability to quickly trouble shoot issues and think outside of the box.
