Network Security Support Analyst

Requisition Details:
Seeking candidates experienced in Network routing and switching, firewalls, VPN, SIEM, IPS, antivirus, patch management, advanced malware detection, threat detection and response systems, DNS, Active Directory, Remote Access Solutions, and risk assessments for new technologies.
Role & Responsibilities
• Provides consulting and level 2 / 3 operational support for Process Control networks and Security technologies.
• Monitors security and event management infrastructure systems; correlate, review, rank, and coordinate work efforts for sites to follow up on high-priority events.
• Responsible for investigating and troubleshooting incidents related to Cyber Security or Network Security
• Assists with the development and content of team's central SharePoint site to support standardization and procedure development.
• Develops and shares best practices with the other support teams.
• Participates as a Subject Matter Expert on information security and network infrastructure projects.
• Ensures that, network hardware, system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational best practices and compliance requirements.
• Provide administration and support for firewalls.
• Provide administration and support for network switches and routers.
• Participates and or leads risk assessments and compliance evaluations of new technologies.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or MIS degree or equivalent experiences. An additional 5 years of direct work experience can be substituted for degree.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience in IOS, Routing protocols, and switching. CCNP or CCNP-security certification recommended.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Infrastructure with the following: Firewalls, SIEM, IPS, advanced malware detection, threat detection and response systems, DNS, Windows server 2008-2012, IOS, Network Security, or other security and access technologies.
• Knowledgeable in IT compliance and Information Risk Management processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
• CISSP, CEH, or other professional InfoSec certification
2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly desired.
