Position:  Business Analyst (with experience writing Epics and Stories) - 2 positions

Duration: 18 month

Please note that rate has gone down considerably on this requirement. They are ok with 5+ years' experience range. Please do not submit average/unqualified candidates and without complete education details. Excellent Comm skills (10/10) required.

 

Location:

·         Mon – Thurs: Washington DC, 2 blocks from the metro around L Street (Client site)

·         Fri: Reston, VA (Appian office). This project with USAC is implemented through Appian Corporation. Persistent Systems is one of the leading professional services partner for Appian.

 

Requirements:

·         Total Experience: 5+ years

·         Strong Agile/Scrum experience. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is highly desirable.

·         Skilled in developing user stories and epics based on subject matter expert and product owner input.

·         The BA will analyze data requirements, expected functionality, use cases, and existing functionality to write agile epics, stories, acceptance criteria, and data descriptions suitable for a scrum development team to estimate the cost to build and deliver Appian BPM solutions. 

·         The individual BA background should be strong in describing data and have training and experience in applications software specification, preferably with some business process management applications experience.

·         Strong SQL querying knowledge

·         The individual BA will report to the Functional Manager for the E-rate Productivity Center project and serve as a member of the functional team.
