About the position and responsibilities:
Job Description:
• Excellent communication skills and ability to drive and work with cross vendor and client teams
• Negotiation and influencing skill to steer the diverse project teams across vendors and guide them to client defined goals
• Create status reports/dashboards to provide update on the project status
• Hands on experience on TFS is mandatory with knowledge on StarTeam and BuildForge
• Resource need to be independently drive the application development teams (across multiple vendors) for migration of source code and build process from legacy source code control & build systems (StarTeam & BuildForge) over to Team Foundation Server (TFS) (More than 50 applications)
• Review current process and refine process during the code migration
• Resource would need to work with the AD teams to understand the structures of the existing projects in StarTeam, as well as the scripts used to build the applications using BuildForge
• Resources should be able to propose how the applications are to be restructured to fit into TFS and work with them to migrate the code.
• Resource would also need to be able to work with the AD teams to create and validate the new build scripts in TFS.
• Applications to be migrated span multiple technologies and languages, including .NET/C#/VB, SSIS, BizTalk as well as Java.
