Job Title : System Automation Engineer
Location : Campbell, CA
Duration : 6 Months

 

Job Description:

General Summary:

·      The Senior System Automation Engineer is responsible to testing and validating various components of a platform product through automated test to ensure quality and proper implementation of features.

 

Job Requirements:

·         Experience in architecture and implementation of automated test framework using Selendroid, Espresso, XCUITest and Javascript connecting to multiple devices where these devices can communicate with each other

·         Experience in JAVA and Javascript development

·         Experience in mobile application automation and testing on iOS and Android

·         Experience in Xcode IDE/Instruments is preferred

·         Experience in using test reporting tools like TestNG or others

·         Experience in build process using Jenkins, Puppet, and Maven is preferred

·         7+ years Software Engineering experience, including 5+ year experience working in a Quality Assurance testing environment

·         5+ year experience in mobile device automation against mobile apps, not mobile web browser

Testing experience

·         Expertise in formal software testing methodologies

·         Integration testing

·         Conformance testing

·         Module and Functional testing

·         Conduct document inspections & reviews

·         Scripting and automated software testing tools

·         Solid Backend and Front-end testing experience

·         Performance Testing

·         Strong telecommunication and wireless industry knowledge.

·         Strong Cellular industry knowledge Strong knowledge of company products, systems and applications.

·         Strong working knowledge of testing analysis, processes and methods.

·         Solid understanding and usage of Windows and Linux platforms

·         Strong programming knowledge: JAVA and Javascript

·         JIRA, Bugzilla, or Subversion defect tracking tool knowledge preferred

·         Have good working knowledge of database structure and SQL query language

Required Interpersonal Skills:

·         Solid understanding of software processes

·         Solid documentations and communication skills

·         Solid analytical and problem resolution skills

·         Solid technical writing skills for creating test related documents

·         Solid control and follow-up skills

·         Solid organizational skills

·         Solid attention to detail

·         Maintain composure in a stressful environment.
