Position Title: QA Tester
Position Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 12+ months
- Required Skill Set:
- 1) Mobile (android or iOS)
- 2) Automation
- 3) Ruby/Cucumber
Basic Qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or substituted with 5+ years of relevant IT/Quality
- - 8+ years of QA Engineering experience
- - 2+ years of leading/overseeing/influencing testing activity of multiple testers
- - 4+ Experience in Testing Mobile Applications, Native and Hybrid apps
- - 2+ years' experience with various project management methodologies, including agile methodologies and supporting techniques (e.g. Test Driven Development and continuous integration processes), packaged system implementations, and traditional specification-driven approaches
- - 2+ years' experience business processes and related systems supporting either Credit Card, Commercial Bank, Retail Bank, or Finance industries
- - Minimum 4 years of experience in mobile test automation, automation framework, and automated functional delivery using Cucumber, Ruby, Calabash and Appium.
- - Minimum 3+ years of Ruby Scripting experience or 2+ years of Object Oriented software development experience (e.g. C#, Javascript, C/C++)
- - Minimum 1+ year of experience in Acceptance test driven development (ATDD) methodology
- - Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source
- - 2+ years hands-on experience in quality tools (ALM, QC, Selenium, QTP, and Automation Suites)
- - 2+ years' experience in an agile, continuous integration environment
- - Collaborative team leadership experience with excellent oral and written communication skills
- - Insightful and logical problem isolation and solving skills
- - Results driven and goals-oriented
- - Perform in a very focused and methodical manner with good time management/multi-tasking skills
- - Able to independently adapt and thrive through change
- - Ability to lead projects individually and mentor team members
- - Ability to lead and take ownership of testing process and implement them
- - Experience assessing risk for determining appropriate levels of testing
Preferred Experience
- - Demonstrated skills using code repositories like GitHub
- - Experience with CI/CD with Hudson/Jenkins tools
- - Experience with JIRA for project management and defect tracking
- - Experience leading ambiguous situations, dealing with IT issues and coming up with effective solutions to ensure project deliverables on time and within budget
- - Experience with a variety of test tools and software testing practices, including developing, implementing, maintaining and managing manual/automated testing systems and environments
- - Experience assessing risk for determining appropriate levels of testing
- - Strong collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills
- - Ability to handle multiple large projects simultaneously
