Position Title: NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER
Position Location: DETROIT, MI
Duration: 12+ months
Responsibility:
Managing information security technologies including:
· Firewalls
· VPNs
· web proxies
· Anti Virus
· SSL-VPN
· IDP
The person needs to have minimum of:
· 3+ years' experience in deploying, managing and troubleshooting various network security technologies including:
o Juniper/PaloAlto firewalls
o IDP
o Juniper SSL-VPN
o RSA SecurID
o Qualys
o Symantec Anti Virus
o BlueCoat Proxy
o DNS
· The physical ability to work in a power plant environment (e.g. climb stairs, work in hot, confined environments);
· flexibility to perform on-call responsibilities to provide off-hours support as scheduled.
· Bachelor's degree in an applicable information technology discipline.
· At Least ONE (1) Valid/Current Network Security Certification Preferred ie.
o CompTIA Security+
o Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
o Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
o GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
o Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
o Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
o Cyber Security Forensic Analyst (CSFA)
