Position Title: Mobile Apps & Connected Devices – Manual Tester
Position Location: Midtown, NY
Duration: 12+ months
Role/Requirements:
· Our top television media client has a need for manual testing of applications.
· Write manual test cases to cover functionality of applications.
· Experience testing software applications, such as native mobile applications (iOS, Android.), desktop applications, or games.
· Streaming video/media applications a plus.
· Knowledge of how to use gaming platforms (PS3, Xbox, etc.) or connected devices (Smart TV's, Roku, AppleTV, Chromecast) a plus.
· Work with developers and program managers to ensure all functions of application are correct. Report any defects. Update and create test cases as needed.
· Detail oriented. Report testing metrics to test managers that indicate status of testing, defects, and current quality of product
· Strong knowledge of smoke testing, regression testing, test case creation, and applying automation testing to improve the delivery of the team
· Experience working in Agile teams
· Experience with Black and Gray-box testing
