Position: SAS Analytical Expert

Location: Periodic onsite in NYC, mostly remote work via VPN (consultant might needs to go to project location if needed, with client expenses)

Duration:3months with probable extension

Description:

Customer is looking to onboard 6 resources to assist in quickly building 2000+ forecasting models using SAS Forecast

server and SAS Enterprise Miner. We are hoping to have 2 or 3 resources each for the two skills sets discussed below.

Customer has a strong preference for experienced Masters and/or PhD level training in statistical data analysis, with

experience in the media industry

Responsibilities:

1. The resources for running SAS Forecast Server should be comfortable executing project setup, running models,

creating / evaluating tables of outputs, understand forecast reconciliations (for hierarchical models) and understanding

how to incorporate events / inputs into forecasting models. These people could be relatively more junior as we have

relatively well defined process in place for typical time series model development and validation.

2. The resources working in Enterprise Miner would ideally be a bit more senior as the requirements here will span a variety of multivariate,

predictive modeling techniques to construct projections of audience behaviors, given structural, longitudinal and

exogenous influences. These resources would of course be expected to easily navigate EM in the creation of projects,

data sets, feature formation, model specification, comparison etc.
