Data Analyst/DW Developer

Location: Columbus, GA

Duration: Long Term Contract

 

Position #1: Looking for a Data Analyst/DW Developer with solid experience in Data Stage & Infosphere. We can also consider a Technical consultant with solid background in Data Stage & knowledge in Infosphere.

Technical Business Analyst – EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) with Data Stage.

* Conduct requirements gathering sessions and create Functional Requirements Documents and/or Design Documents for data changes related to Single Bank

* Work with ETL team to understand data mappings and impact of Single Bank changes to existing EDW model

* Hands on experience in data analysis, data mapping, data validation, data quality and data profiling (basic)

* Hands on experience in systems thinking, critical thinking, analytical skills, self-starter and detail orientation (basic)

* Ability to work with multiple data sources and different types of data

* Working knowledge of IBM DataStage, QualityStage and IBM InfoSphere Governance Catalog

 

 

Data Analyst/BO Developer

Location: Columbus, GA

Position #2: Looking for a Data Analyst/BO Developer with solid experience in Business Objects & Spotfire. We can also consider a Technical consultant with solid background in BO & knowledge in Spotfire.

Technical Business Analyst (BIC (Business Intelligence Center)) with Business Objects.

* Document requirements for variables used in Business Objects reports related to Single Bank

* Create Functional Requirements Documents for Business Objects reporting as a result of Single Bank changes

* Ability to determine data sources and data elements (# times run, # data element accessed, # users running, etc.) based on evaluating current Business Objects reports.

* Hands on experience data analysis, data mapping, data validation, data quality, data profiling (basic)

* Hands on experience systems thinking, critical thinking, analytical skills, self-starter, detail orientation (basic)

* Ability to work with multiple data sources and different types of data (basic)

 

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with Sherlock tool to generate metadata about Business Objects universes and reports

* SQL query skills with understanding of Business Objects universes

* Support Single Bank reporting changes, if needed – new development and break-fix

* Spotfire knowledge
