Java Developer w/ Cassandra

Burbank, CA

12+ month/ Contract

MUST HAVE: Cassandra, Spring Frameworks and Java Multi-threading

 

Must Haves:

• Senior level Java knowledge (Java 1.8)
• Senior level web application backend design skills
  • knows how to scale 
  • knows how to get high performance
  • knows how to secure
• Must have worked with Spring framework (i.e. Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring AOP…etc)
• RESTful services design and implementation 
• OOP
• Data modeling
  • needs to know how to write performant SQL queries 
  • experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases (specially Cassandra)
• Java web application profiling and performance tuning
• JDBC, JPA/Hibernate
• GIT

Nice to Haves:

• Amazon Elastic Beanstalk
• Redis or Memcached
• ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ
• MongoDB

 

Bonus:

• Scala
• Akka
• Kafka
