Job Role: Scrum Master 

Location: Des moines, IA 

Duration:12+ Months

Initially, the job will require working with Drupal developers and content managers, to manage a large portfolio of websites. In the future, the Scrum Master may transition to other projects utilizing other programming languages, such as C# .Net. Technical expertise and Agile Scrum background will be heavily tested during the interview process. A preference will be given to candidates who have an application development background.

Required:

o              5 years experience as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach

o              5 years experience as an application developer

o              5 years experience with automated unit testing

o              3 years experience with HTML/ CSS, JavaScript and jQuery

 

Preferred:

o              Experience with Drupal content management system

o              Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and MVC

               

Further job requirements:

-               Understand basic fundamentals of agile and iterative development

-               Understand other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other     techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise

-               Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures

-               Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team

-               Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition

-               Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning

-               Possess strong communications skills
