 Description:
At least 3 years of experience in Enterprise production support or 3 years of experience in software development teams. - At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: · Supporting web application built using open source stack or · Mainframe application support on CICS/MQ/DB2 or · Database support on Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB · Supporting Windows Servers with emphasis on CMD Line administration · Unix/Linux/AIX server administration · Networking: knowledge and understanding of network theory (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing) - At least 1 year of experience with ITIL practices and principles. - Systematic problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive. - At least 1 year of experience with Enterprise Monitoring Tools such as Splunk, BlueStripe, Zabbix, HPOM, Diagnostics, Sitescope, BSM, AppResponse, CA-Unicenter Preferred Qualifications: - Masters Degree - At least 1 year working in 1 or more of the following: · AWS cloud services configuration & administration · Chef, Ansible, Puppet and/or UDeploy · Jenkins, Codeship, Travis · Restful web/API services support and deployment · Linux, UNIX, AIX, or Openstack administration · Apache Webserver, Tomcat, or Weblogic · Python, Ruby, Go, Javascript development experience · Mongo, Hadoop, Casandra administration · Developing on monitoring systems: Splunk, BlueStripe, or Zabbix - Familiarity with hosting apps in Cloud - Technical certification(s) in Cloud or OpenSource technologies - Familiarity with running web services at scale; understanding of Unix systems internals and networking. - Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, taking in system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols along the way.
