Job Description:

Client has launched a program to migrate content from 30+ departments from Documentum to OpenText Content Server.  The 2 year program will establish a single document management system fully aligned with business processes, fully integrated with business master data, and fully secured but accessible to internal and external parties.  The OpenText system will manage the entire document lifecycle to include creation, collaboration, and management of the document as the final record.

 

Required Skill set: 

·         The successful candidate should have strong experience OpenText configuration / development.  (Bachelor Degree in CS or MIS preferred but not required).

·         The candidate must have solid IT analytical / problem solving skills with experience in Open Text, Documentum, and SharePoint,.

·         The candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic and be willing to take the lead on their own initiative. The candidate must be flexible and willing to adapt to changing business requirements and be prepared to learn and support a variety of project needs and new technologies.

·         The candidate must be able to prepare regular written and verbal presentations, technical documents, and reports.

·         The candidate must be able to stay aligned with the project team and Enterprise Content Management teams.

·         The candidate must drive for continuous improvement in support processes, IT capabilities, and customer productivity. Don't automatically accept the status quo.

 

OpenText Content Server Technology

·         Migrating content from Documentum to OpenText.

·         Migrating content from SharePoint to OpenText.

·         Migrating content from a File Directory to OpenText.

·         Migrating content from Livelink to OpenText

·         Migrating content from OpenText to OpenText.

·         Create categories, attributes, and security model in OpenText Content Server

·         Experience with OpenText ADN module and configuration of attributes as part of the migration process.

·         Troubleshoot migration errors caused by both the migration tool and also OpenText configuration, design issues that cause the errors.

 

Documentum Technology

·         Experience using Documentum Query Language (DQL) to identify specific content based on attribute criteria.

·         Understanding of Documentum Data Model.

·         Understanding of Documentum Security to include modifying ACLs.

·         Any knowledge of the API is not required but helpful.

 

SharePoint Technology

·         Experience using PowerShell.

·         Experience designing, implementing, and installing SharePoint Content Types, Different Data Types, and Site / Site Collection.

·         Experience leveraging SharePoint log files to solve problems.

 

Shared File Directory Technology

·         Leverage tools to analyse File Directory content and metadata.

 

OpenText Auxiliary Technologies

·         Configuring Engineering Doc MGT Module.

·         Configuring AnswerModules to create forms.

·         Leveraging AnswerModules for custom development.

·         Configuring OT Scanning Capabilities.

·         Configuring OT Records MGT Capabilities

·         Leveraging the OT Data Migration Module

·         Leveraging OScript for custom development

·         Please list any other OT or 3rd Party modules you have experience with.

 

Other Auxiliary Technologies

·         Migrating content from Documentum to OpenText using the FME Adapter

·         Integrating OpenText and SAP

·         Please list any integrations you have supported / configured / developed between OT and other systems.
