Position: Senior .Net Developer
Location: Columbia,SC
Duration: 6 Months
Rate:OPEN
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
ü Gather the specific requirements for the system rewrite from SMES.
ü Create design document.
ü Code the system, create test cases.
ü Create user and technical documentation,
ü Assist with deployment of the new system,
ü Report to supervisor and project management office with verbal and written status reports.
Required Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance):
ü Analyst skills – gather requirements, create design document
ü Socket programming
ü Asp.net (VB) programming
ü Transact-SQL
ü Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
ü Ability to understand and follow directions
Preferred Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance):
ü Data security and/or encryption knowledge
ü Website design
Required Education: Any Education –
Must have at least 5 yrs OTJ experience with all phases of the SDLC
Additional Skills: Analytical skills, ability to think logically, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and with others, ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions; data encryption and website design skills a plus, data and website security and encryption skills preferred
