Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 12+ months

Rate: Open

 

Skills Needed:

- Minimum of ten (10) years of IT project management experience

- Minimum of five (5) years of IT Program management experience

- Proven experience managing 3rd party vendor projects

- Working knowledge of application development in a variety of technical platforms including mainframe

- Planning and management skills, including scope, estimating, budgeting and resource allocation procedures

- Strong analytical and conceptual skills

- Proven leadership skills including team development and leadership

- Positive interpersonal skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects

- Strong knowledge of Project Management processes and industry best practices

- Demonstrated experience managing application development teams

- Microsoft Suite experience (e.g, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)

- Excellent organizational and presentation skills

- Proven experience managing large projects (> $5M)

- Strongly prefer PMP Certification

- Experience working in Project Management within government environment

- Experience working with data security standards

- Experience working with multiple government agency stakeholders

- Six Sigma knowledge – KPIs
