Position :Frontend/UI developer

Location : SF,CA(Locals highly preferred)

Rate : OPEN

Duration : 6 months+(can be extended)

 

Citizens/EADs/GCs Only

Requirements:

 

Ø  3 + years hand-on implementation of JavaScript.

Ø  Current experience and deep understanding of developing web applications with Sencha Ext JS, SproutCore, jQuery, or similar framework.

Ø  Strong understanding of JavaScript developed from hands-on experience implementing across browsers.

Ø  Familiar with full web application stack, including rich internet application (RIA).

Ø  The successful candidate will also have a broad knowledge of most of the current JavaScript libraries and application framework.

Ø  Strong understanding of Web architecture and technologies.

Ø  Experience as a professional programmer in a collaborative team environment using modern tools (Git or Subversion, issue tracking tools, document collaboration systems, and other ALM tools used by distributed teams).

Ø  Have a solid grasp of object oriented programming and algorithms.

Ø  Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Ø  Have exposure to working at a Finance Company or has personal experience with investing.

Ø  Have some professional hands on experience of server side development.

Ø  Have broad skills in multiple programming languages, development environments, and software frameworks (Linux, Java, Phython, R, SQL).

Ø  Have participated in open source development efforts.

Ø  Have experience working with open-source portal framework (e.g., Liferay).

Ø  Are skilled in advanced software development techniques, such as test-driven development, continuous deployment/DevOps, agile software development, automated functional testing, or modern JavaScript testing.

Ø  Are passionate about software development outside of the prescribed work environment.

Ø  BS in Computer Science, physical science, or similar experience in the workplace.
