Technical/Functional Skills :
· Experience in analyzing and tuning JVMs and garbage collectors
- Proven troubleshooting and platform analysis abilities
- Proven ability to tune application platforms such as (WAS, Tomcat, JBoss, WMB, WODM, WMQ, Data Power, and/or other systems)
- Proven ability to evaluate technical designs and java code to identify performance issues
- 5+ years of experience in open systems application development environment
- 7+ years of experience in JAVA-based application development environment
- 5+ years of experience in J2EE technologies (Servlets, EJB, JDBC, JMS, Java Security)
- 1-2 years of experience with XML and related technologies (XSL/T, XML Schema).
- 3+ years of experience with SOA Frameworks
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
- Excellent understanding of architectural design patterns
- Excellent understanding of enterprise architectures
- Understanding of networking connectivity is essential, including TCP/IP
- Understanding of enterprise systems (i.e., databases, legacy systems, etc.)
- 3+ years LINUX/UNIX experience.
- 1-2 years travel industry experience beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Effective written and communication skills
Roles & Responsibilities: T
· This role will be responsible for,
- Mentor and consult with development teams on efficiencies in tuning java code, flows, and rules.
- Mentor and consult with architecture, performance engineering, and development to implement solutions that perform and scale to expectations.
- Consult with operational, engineering, and development teams in the investigation of root cause of issues in the IBM platforms.
- Design and develop complex common technical services and components that are exposed across the enterprise in a highly resilient and performing manner.
