User Experience Researcher

Location 1:  Bothell WA 

Location 2:  Atlanta GA

12 Months Plus

 

 

Qualifications / Skills: 

• 2+ years working in the field of user research, with particular emphasis on usability testing, in a professional/corporate setting. 
• Bachelors degree preferred in the field of HCI, Human Factors, Usability Engineering or related field
• Experience planning and executing different types of user experience research activities such as customer visits, contextual inquiries, requirements gathering activities, concept testing, early prototype testing, usability testing, and customer surveys 
• Understanding of theories and principles of user-centered design 
• Well versed in a variety of usability testing and research methods
• Strong analytical and presentation skills 
• Ability to work as team member
• Outstanding written, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
• Organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced setting

 

Core  Duties:

-Plan usability studies that support and drive user-centered design of frontline system UIs for Retail and Care channels.

-Collect qualitative feedback from frontline users by administering surveys and interviewing users during field research in stores and call centers.

-Facilitate quantitative, task-based, 1:1 studies with users in store and/or call centers.

- Record and analyze information and data points from study sessions

-Deliver quick turn-around, top-line results to UX design team and stakeholders.

-Create formal reports and present to designers and stakeholders.

-Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools and comfortable with remote use of usability software and cameras.

-Background in low-fidelity prototyping is a plus.
