Job Title:Oracle DBA

Location:Oswego, OR

Duration:3+ months Contract

Required Skills:

Looking for an actual DBA with ORACLE 11G Experience

Looking for someone who has experience managing large datasets; optimizing multithreaded performance and experience with data structure design and data layout.

NOT looking for an oracle programmer or someone specializing in scripting

Working on Content Repository Project. At a point where optimization is needed before bringing into production.

Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company Oracle 11g database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. 

Tunes databases for optimal performance. 

Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.

Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. 

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 

Performs a variety of tasks. 

May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. 

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 

Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Enterprise Databases: Oracle RDBMS, SQL                                                                           

Productivity Software: Visio                                                                       

Scripting & Shell Languages: UNIX Shell Scripting
