Key Skills:

1.      Master's degree or PhD in any quantitative discipline

2.      SQL and SAS skills

3.      Healthcare industry experience

4.      Experience with predictive modeling and/or data mining techniques

5.      Experience with health insurance claims data to include inpatient, outpatient, lab file layouts, and codes.

6.      Good communication skills (verbal/written)

 

Position Description:

ü  This position is responsible for planning and executing statistical analyses.

ü  Providing expertise on diagnosis coding, including ICD-9 and

ü  ICD-10 and relations between the two systems.

ü  Working on multiple project tasks in support of the design and implementation of analytic solutions.

ü  Interfacing between various business and technical teams.

ü  Providing technical leadership.

ü  Working closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of relevant data.

ü  Design and statistical analysis techniques, and processes to build analytic solutions to meet business needs.

 

Job Requirement:

ü  Bachelor's Degree with 4 or more years of relevant experience;

ü  Excellent SAS programming skills, including at least 3 years of experience using SAS.

ü  Familiarity with diagnosis coding, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 systems;

ü  Training and demonstrated experience in using applied statistics;

ü  Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently interface with customers and business partners; 6. Excellent English communication and writing skills;

ü  Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
