Title: Sr Salesforce Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 10 months +
 
Qualifications:
Experienced in developing and supporting custom built applications in Salesforce.com. Candidate must be proficient with more than one object-oriented programming language and have extensive force.com experience building and customizing applications and Force.com pages, create custom interfaces and web services using APEX, and Visualforce. Also, HTML5 and Java experience desired.
 
1) Has more than just Salesforce.com experience (Object oriented, Java, and/or HTML) HM does not want someone with a solid foundation in OO programing who has learned Force.com
2) Experience in creating and customizing applications in SFDC is a must. Working on an existing application to enhance it (without extensive documentation) and add new functionality is a key responsibility. The applications will include working with large data to build reporting apps, contract management processing, and custom UI design and build.
3) Ability to work directly with business users.
4) Experience partnering with off-shore developers to build applications.
 
7+ years experience
Responsible for leading team efforts, delegating tasks, following up on progress of team and coaching junior team members as assigned.
• Transform business requirements into an application architecture that is compliant with Delta enterprise standards.
• Create application architectures that serve as frameworks for future applications.
• Develop appropriate software and documentation according to standards.
• Architect small applications
• Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all problems.
• Follow standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software.
*May perform other duties as assigned.
 
Basic Entry Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in the computer systems development field. Previous airline experience ideal.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Experience building computer software within the Airline business a plus.
