Title: Infrastructure Architect

Job Description:
• Infrastructure will be responsible for providing architectural direction and leadership to implementation and support teams, as well as conceptualizing, designing, guiding and enabling the construction and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions
• 7 years of overall IT enterprise experience, including 5 years of experience in designing, building and supporting large IT enterprise environments in engineering or architect capacity
• Thorough understanding of the IT industry (e.g., emerging technologies, industry standards, support services, architectures, systems design and systems integration)
• Proven success in a leadership role with responsibility for delivering infrastructure or software development projects.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, virtualization, load balancers, databases and data caching technologies.
• Solid understanding of web architecture, including web servers, application servers and web development languages and patterns.
• Proven, strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in meetings, email and informal discussions.
• Demonstrated understanding of security and networking best practices.
• Strong teambuilding skills and teamwork orientation; able to coach, mentor or lead by example.
• Conversant on distributed systems issues such as state, transactional integrity, availability, and performance.
• Knowledge of IaaS, SaaS industry standards and best practices.
• Prior experience with enterprise mobility platforms and desktop management platforms. Changed to - The IT Architect ¿
