Mandatory Skills:
· Oracle Apps DBA with knowledge of Oracle E-Biz Suite 11i, R12 and 11g RAC in a Linux environment
· Strong RAC Skills with Multiple RAC Implementation Knowledge
· Strong experience in SSL and SSO
· Strong in Oracle Clusterware/ASM/RDBMS Upgrade and Installation
· Experience in Scripting, Automation and Performance Tuning
Desired Skills
Knowledge of OEM Grid, UNIX and Incident management (or ITIL framework)
Job Description:
· 8+ years of experience as an Oracle APPS DBA with Strong Knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i, R12 and Oracle RDBMS 11g RAC clusters operating on Linux Environment
· Strong RAC Skills with Multiple RAC Implementation Knowledge
· Strong in Oracle Clusterware/ASM/RDBMS Upgrade and Installation
· Strong experience in SSL and SSO
· Experience in DataGuard desirable
· Experience in Upgrade and fresh install of Oracle Applications from 11i to R12
· Experience in scripting and automation is MUST
· Excellent in Troubleshooting End user issues and Performance Issue in Oracle Application
· Strong Knowledge in Capacity Planning and Maintenance
· Experience writing and debugging complex PL/SQL procedures and packages
· Strong knowledge in performance tuning of SQL
· Ability to work with Developers and Business Analysts
· Experience in Handling Large Oracle Application Mission Critical Databases
· Strong knowledge on best practices to implement standards, processes, and procedures
· Strong knowledge in implementing HA solutions
· Strong knowledge of OEM /Oracle Grid for 11g and 12c
· Ability to document and implement database administration architectures and operational procedures
· Strong knowledge and experiences in using Oracle ASM and file systems in managing database storage
· In-depth knowledge of database internals and data structures
· Strong knowledge of SQL/SQL*Plus, shell/Perl scripting and strong understanding of PL/SQL and stored procedures/packages
· Strong communication skills and customer-support focused attitude
· Strong knowledge of creating database administration processes and controls to meet security and compliance audit requirements for SOX, PCI
· Ability to document and implement database administration architectures and operational procedures
· Innovative problem solving skills
· Adhere to Change, Release, Incident, Problem management processes
· Knowledge in Oracle AS 10g/ Weblogic 11g is an added Advantage
· Good Knowledge in Scaling Up Oracle Application Environment as per the Enterprise Growth
