Mobile Developer(Android or iOS)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience. 
  
• 8+ years of experience in Software development working in an agile/iterative SDLC
  
• 4+ years in a lead role working with distributed teams and  with commercial, customer facing software products
  
• 2+ yrs. of extensive coding in Android (latest versions).

Technical Skills:

• Must be experienced in leading and developing large scale enterprise level B2C applications/platform(s).
  
• Must be experienced in leading development of native Android apps on a service-oriented platform and publishing to Google Play.
  
• Must have strong programming and debugging skills with Android including SQLite, synchronous and asynchronous code, web services & JSON parsing.
  
• Must have a solid grasp of client-server architecture.
  
• Must be experienced with Unix/Linux and scripting in shell scripts.
  
• Must be experienced in GIT and ALM tools,
  
• Must have good working knowledge in push notification services like Urban-Airship.
  
• Must be experienced in automating build and release process of the iOS Apps including automated testing and continuous integration builds.
  
• Experience with OpenSSL and SQL Cipher encryption libraries a plus

Other Skills:

• Must be experienced in leading a development team of 3+ developers (no management responsibility).
  
• Must be proficient at managing and authoring plans, architecture, design and technical specifications and presenting at formal reviews.
  
• Must be comfortable in a dynamic environment with multiple technology stack and ability to wear multiple hats. 
  
• Must have a sound understanding of software development and maintenance processes and methods, project management principles and techniques as they relate to software project planning, implementation, and others.
  
• Must have the ability to be self-directed and interact with technology and business partners at all levels. 
  
• Must have the ability to handle stressful situations and work in an Agile environment. 
  
• Must have the ability to work with all levels of the organization (engineers and executives) across different time zones, and demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. 
  
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills. 
  
• Experience with OpenSSL and SQL Cipher encryption libraries a plus
  
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office suite of products desired.
• 
  
• Publishing domain is a plus.
