Sr. eCommerce Product Manager
Location: SF, CA
Duration: 6-12 months+

Description:
  • Senior Product Manager to drive results on the Order Management (OMSD) program. The OMSD program aims to replace our legacy order management systems with a more eCommerce centric order management framework as an unlock for continued growth and improved cross-channel experience for our customers. The right candidate will have a strong business and technical foundation, several years of relevant experience with customer facing brands, and a flexible communication style. As a Product Management team, we focus the considerable brain power of our brand and technology partners to deliver products to our customers that enhance their lives at home. We work with great brands and solve interesting problems with technology.
  • Collaborate closely with many technology and brand partners to define requirements and solution for new order management systems
  • Be the voice of the customer and serve as a liaison between brand teams and technology
  • Support our technology teams by clearly articulating not only what we are doing (requirements), but why we are doing it (strategy)
  • Manage the backlog and user stories of a scrum team focused on delivering the eCommerce portion of the OMSD program.  This includes business and functional requirements, system specifications, interface specifications, and data conversion needs
  • Assists in planning, developing and executing test plans and user acceptance testing
  • May assist in development of flight and project plans. Provides status on project milestones, alerting project manager of any potential delays.
  • Be a productive member of our Product Management team, taking on new challenges where necessary and elevating the practice of Product Management at WSI
  • Support our seven brand teams by answering questions, making recommendations and providing a transparent view of priorities and progress
  • Provides knowledge transfer and feedback as appropriate
  • Complies with all SOX requirements and IT essentials defined by the organization
  • Qualifications
  • Experience working on checkout and order management processes and systems, ideally in a Retail/eCommerce environment
  • Solid functional understanding of a services model for order creation, item availability, pricing, promotions, freight and tax calculation
  • Experience working as a product owner in Agile (Scrum) delivery process
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with many different brand and technology partners at different levels ranging from site managers, interface developers to project managers and Chief Application Architect
  • Motivated to work on complex, "back-end" initiatives and ability to get up to speed quickly
  • Expected to work with limited instruction on day-to-day activities, and general instructions on new activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, business communication and writing skills
  • Customer Service focused, with high quality standards.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years relevant work experience 
  • Ability to use computer for extended period of time
