Job Description

Performs all or part of the full life-cycle development process, ranging from user analysis, design, and development to implementation and support. The developer will be involved in developing and maintaining MVC based client-server web-based applications and will need good working knowledge of basic server side Java technology (Servlet API), HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•             Develop web pages using Java web technologies

•             Develop client side interactive pages using JavaScript

•             Architect, design, and develop high quality software.

•             Maintain, support and enhance existing software.

•             Work collaboratively to solve complex software problems

•             Advice and assist other developers.

•             Working with other teams to deliver scalable, reliable software   

 

What you need for this position:

 

•             Strong experience in HTML,CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

•             Expertise with troubleshooting cross-browser issues and quick prototyping using web browser debuggers (like Firebug)

•             Strong knowledge and experience in basic web programming paradigm

•             Exposure to Service Oriented Architecture and Web Service development standards (SOAP, XML, WSDL) and in developing on the Spring and Hibernate frameworks

•             Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Experience/Education

•             Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related study (Master's degree preferred).
