Location : Chicago, IL
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Job Description
The .NET Developer position will be responsible for participating in all phases of the development and maintenance of a product life cycle, utilizing specific technology platforms.
Technical Requirements
JavaScript; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Deep understanding of DOM, AJAX, HTTP, ASP.NET MVC
Expertise with HTML
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and graphic designers, analyze and classify complex change request and review and evaluate possible enhancements.
Work with development team to develop and define application scope, objectives, and prepare functional and/or technical specifications.
Analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements.
Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements.
Contribute ideas for making applications better and easier to use.
Develop and perform system testing and fix defects identified during testing and re-execute unit tests to validate results.
May mentor others on coding standards and performs code reviews.
May aid in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project effort.
Education and Training
BA/BS degree or technical institute training
Professional Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience with HTML, CSS required.
Experience and knowledge of the healthcare industry desired.
Experience with contact center operations is helpful.
Experience with numerous design patterns.
Multi-database, multi-language or multi-business applications experience is preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities
Solid knowledge of web standards and an understanding of the differences between browser versions and cross browser coding.
Core understanding of SOLID principles.
For senior position, ability to mentor others, lead small projects and provide troubleshooting support.
Excellent communication skills.
Qualified candidates will have JavaScript, DOM, AJAX, HTTP, ASP.NET MVC and HTML.
