Job description
» Should have good understanding of infrastructure management processes; good understanding of process framework
like ITIL.
» Provides 3rd level technical support on SAN/NAS related issues.
» Configuring and troubleshooting issues with Storage arrays ( Hitachi and NetApp).
» Must knowledge on NetApp code upgrades (7 mode and cluster mode)
» Configuring and troubleshooting issues on Brocade SAN switches in a heterogeneous SAN environment.
» Experience in Configuration, managing and troubleshooting on data replication across SAN / NAS box (Hitachi
Universal Replication, NetApp Snapmirror, Hitachi Shadow Image)
» Hitachi CCI commands expertise knowledge (Configuration changes/device mapping)
» Hitachi LUN/NetApp Volume Provisioning on windows and unix servers, Cluster servers, VMware.
» Configuration and Managing Microsoft Exchange environment on NetApp box
» Backup Configuration, management and Troubleshooting on Unix environment using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
(server Version 6.3 and plus)
» Knowledge in Performing TSM DB rebalance, restoration and migration.
» Knowledge in EMC DataDomain configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
» Brocade/McData – Zoning, ISL concepts, connectivity and Replication details.
» EMC DD Boost configuration and replication.
» Good knowledge in Backend Physical and Virtual Tape libraries.
» Excellent Communication Skills
» Previous onsite experience preferred
