Position: Lead Java Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6+ Month/ Contract to Hire

Interview: Phone and Skype

   Must be USC, GC or EAD - GC 

Qualifications 

·  Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 

·  Minimum 5 years in Object Oriented Software Developmentexperience 

·  Expert in Java/ J2EE technologies  

·  Strong skills in Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services (both SOAP-based and RESTful)  

·  Strong skills with Web Service frameworks (Apache CXF preferred) 

·  Strong understanding of implementing security in Web Services. 

·  Ability to integrate Web Services with different sources in the backend (databases, MQ, etc.) 

·  Strong skills in Spring technologies with an emphasis on Spring ORM, Spring integration, Spring JMS, Spring security, Spring AOP 

·  Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (Jenkins), etc. 

·  Experience with Sabre and understanding of Sabre command is nice to have but not required 

·  Ability to use tools like DynaTrace for analyzing, debugging and solving complex application issues is nice 

·  Strong design pattern skills 

·  Self-starter, strong analytical skills, efficient communicator, strong problem solving skills 

·  Maintain and enhance existing services, applications and platforms including, but not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning 

·  Multi-tasker, ability to work on multiple different projects and be able to prioritize timelines 

·  Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify and implement solutions 

·  Interface with management, business analysts, project managers, IT architects and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements 

·  Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security and performance 

·  Document software designs 

·  Develop coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines 

·  Ability to mentor/lead other resources
