Position: TIBCO Developer
Location: St Louis, MO
Duration: 12+ Month/ Contract

Must be USC, GC or EAD - GC, OPT
Purpose of the Role:
The qualified applicant will have responsibility for building dashboards for the North American planning organization in TIBCO Spotfire. Knowledge of QlikView would be beneficial as current applications using similar source data are built in that platform. Dashboards will require significant data transformation and in-application calculations to track key metrics such as forecast accuracy and production plan adherence at different levels of product and organizational hierarchy. The developer will design a front end interface to enable end-user data mining and simple reporting and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn key supply chain terminology and the various business models for seed sales
- Investigate and access multiple sources of information including Teradata, Oracle, MS Access and Excel
- Perform data translation of source data to ensure consistency and fit
- Schedule daily data loads and refreshes of Spotfire applications
- Code complex calculation logic within Spotfire contingent upon user selections and data hierarchy
- Estimate workload and achieve agreed-upon deadlines
Functional Skills
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Effective oral communication and written documentation skills
- Ability to work in an iterative manner, building and refining through frequent interaction with the business customer
- Excellent ability to work alongside others, quickly engaging to solve problems or further understanding
Technical Skills Required
- High competency in TIBCO Spotfire development including:
- In memory and on demand report creation
- Working with large datasets and optimization
- R Integration
- Use of complex functions including set analysis and groups
- Strong understanding of database theory and architecture
- Oracle, PL/SQL, Teradata, MS Access
Desired
- Competency in QlikView dashboard development including
- Experience in supply chain (production planning or demand planning)
