Job Description –vRA/vRO Developer

Location: Raritan, NJ

Contract : 6 Months Plus

 

Experience / Skills :

Total IT Experience:  7 - 9 Years

VMware vRealize Automation and Orchestration:2-3 Years and above (Mandatory)

 

Education:

[Preferred] Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering (any discipline)

 

Role:

·         The candidate will be responsible for automating deployments of various infrastructure deployment elements using VMware vRealize Automation and Orchestration

·         An understanding of infrastructure elements and deployment architecture is required.

·         The candidate should be able to lead a highly complex module / storiesindependently and will be responsible for timely delivery of the same.

·         A strong programming background and ability to deliver successful outcomes consistently on infrastructure automation solutions is essential in this role.

 

Must Have:

·         Project experience which includes Requirement Analysis, Coding, Testing, UAT and support

·         Very good experience in Project execution using agile development methodology (Scrum) and SDLC process documentation.

·         A good understanding of infrastructure elements, virtualization and sizing like CPU, RAM and Hard Disk usage.

·         Should have knowledge of application deployments and release cycles.

·         Hands-on project execution experience using JavaScript, Python, PowerShell and customization of workflows using Orchestration in VMware vRealize Suite environment

·         Candidate should be prepared to work extended hours specifically for giving hyper support after production release.

·         Very good verbal, written English communication skills and should be able to effectively manage customer interactions to achieve a positive outcome.

·         Effective time management, team handling and organizational skills.

 

Good to Have:

·         Good presentation and documentation skill

·         Good inter-personal and analytical skill

·         Good in stakeholder management, issue management

 

General

·         A person having strong oral & written communication skill who is expected to communicate with primary customer and other stakeholders (app teams, operations team) on a daily basis.

·         Good proven record of working on VMware vRealize Automation project(s).

·         Capability of independently leadingmodules / teams.
