Sad Sangat Ji - Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,
On Sunday August 12th, 10AM to 3PM, The Sikh Society of Central Florida will be hosting an Interfaith Open House event designed to Honor the Heroes and Remember the Sacrifices of the Victims of the Recent Wisconsin Tragedy. Attached is a brief flyer discussing the event.
We strongly implore you to bring your friends, neighbors, and community leaders to this event to help us create an atmosphere of Mutual Understanding and Love.
We will also be raising money for the both the Heroes and Victims of the event, and all funds raised will go directly to them.
Come Early and Take Part in the Event as it includes:
¨ Civic/State/Federal Leadership— Dynamic Speakers will be present helping us bridge the knowledge gap
¨ Free Fresh Indian Food— Come out and enjoy some fantastic Indian Cuisine and taste a part of our Culture
¨ Guided Temple Tours—Come see how we worship firsthand
¨ Interfaith Awareness— Listen to and pray with Interfaith leaders from the Local Community
¨ Tie a Turban—Learn how to tie a turban and understand what it means to wear it
¨ Record a Message of Solidarity— Record a video message of support and solidarity to the Heroes & Victims of the tragedy
¨ Information & Educational Displays—Learn about the Sikh Faith, witness our shared ideals, and help better understand how the tragedy affected all Americans
