Re: {PBJFlorida} We met to support a stop to nuclear weapons--

Penny, to answer you, I think we can bring our vision to life. To me, the question is "What stops us?"  The Buddhists say what's stopping us is "ego grasping mind.". There were many strongly held beliefs represented there last night. Could our attachment to "our" belief be stopping is?

Is it possible to let go of our attachment to beliefs, allegiances, and opinions?  Are you (am I) at any moment willing to give up all we have become for what could be?

Last night at the Quaker meeting house, about 40 people met to listen to various speakers (our Miguel was one of them) from the Hindu, Muslim, Christian, and Native American traditions. We heard buddhist chants, poetry and Apache drumming, all in the service of peace and nonproliferation of weapons. Amazing how so many different people from so many paths could all say the same thing: we are one people, we are God's children, we must care for each other and for the planet. It was beautiful.

Why can't we bring it to life, to our lives, to America?
