We are seeking a bright and motivated PeopleSoft HRMS Functional Lead Consultant. Candidates must have the skills to provide functional HRMS consulting services to clients, helping them gain the optimum benefit from their PeopleSoft software. This position requires 100% travel. Projects are executed on-site at client locations nationwide with a typical week of four x 10-hour days.

 

In addition to the long-term opportunities of potential development, professional growth and the chance to work alongside talented colleagues, accepted candidates will immediately participate on an existing client assignment in the San Diego area. This project involves the upgrade of an existing PeopleSoft HRMS application for a large public sector client. The project is a full lifecycle version upgrade including requirements gathering, design/prototyping, test scripting /testing, issue resolution and elevation to production. The individual will lead the entire consulting team on the project and manage the client relationship. This position will require the ability to work closely with the company's end user accounting staff, subject matter experts and PeopleSoft technical support staff for requirements through to implementation. Additionally, the role will require the ability to resolve both business process and application issues through the coordination of functional and technical resources.

 

General Duties/Tasks:

• Act as the Functional Lead during the full lifecycle of an upgrade project for the required modules (Benefits).

• Complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner reporting progress to the implementation Quality Assurance Manager and Engagement Manager

• Take personal responsibility for continual process improvement

• Facilitate and participate in meetings when appropriate

• Produce timely, high quality deliverables that exceed the expectations of the client

 

Required Skills:

• Prior experience acting as a functional lead on a large and complex PeopleSoft HRMS implementation or upgrade project

• Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS - Benefits

• K-12 or Public Sector Experience

• Extensive understanding and previous work experience as a PeopleSoft functional lead in multiple implementations and/or upgrade projects

• Minimum of five years current, hands-on PeopleSoft experience

• PeopleSoft version 9.0 or higher experience required with both upgrade and implementation experience
