PHP Developer with Drupal  or Drupal  Developer with PHP

Location: NYC

Duration: 3+ months

Exp: 7 Years

Drupal (4 years), PHP: 3 years exp must

Tasks/Responsibilities:

·         Work closely with our Technology Director, Interactive Producers and Front-End Developers to architect and implement standards based web applications.

·         Maintain & update existing code repositories for client web sites and applications

·         Develop & support web applications for client campaign activations

·         Work with existing Web Services implementations & configurations

*     Mentor and assist team with Drupal best practices and innovation

·         Optimize application performance 

 

Education/Experience Required: (3 years but 5 would be ideal)

·         Strong PHP skills with a focus on OOP and MVC design pattern

·         Experience with PHP frameworks (CakePHP a plus)

·         Experience developing for Drupal CMS

·         Strong JavaScript abilities included frameworks (JQuery, Backbone etc)

·         Excellent MySQL skills

·         Experience manipulating data in XML and JSON formats
