Requisition Details: 

• Must have experience in change management / problem management and ITIL framework. 
• Very good knowledge and understanding of Oracle architecture and concepts 
• Exposure to various versions of Oracle databases  
• Experience in cloning databases using RMAN duplicate and other methods 
• Expertise in troubleshooting and fixing RMAN backup issues, data corruption and recovery scenarios 
• Expertise in performance tuning including instance tuning and sql tuning, tracing,  system state dumps, hang analysis  
• Experience in working with tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager 
• Understanding of Oracle internals is an advantage 
• Experience in database planning and executing database upgrades 
• Setup, configure, monitor and manage standby databases 
• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to standby databases 
• Advanced level of knowledge in managing databases on UNIX environments including shell scripting, troubleshooting using Unix tools 
• Experience and understanding of clustered databases including Active Passive and Real Application Clusters 

 

Should be 10/10 in:

• RMAN Backup Recovery : 10/10

• Performance Tuning : 10/10

• Standby Database : 10/10

• Basics : 10/10
