Bachelor's degree in computer science or related study and 6+ years experience in building distributed Java/J2EE client-server applications is required. Primary Objective(s)

 

Key Responsibilities
As part of an architecturally focused development team, you'll have the following key responsibilities:
Partner with several development and product teams to implement data-services in order to meet requirements of constantly changing product pipeline.
Formulate innovative solutions to achieve integrations with Social Media services, Web API's, and 3rd party systems.
Be instrumental in promoting industry best practices for building scalable, feature rich, and fault-tolerant web-services in our distributed application environment.
Collaborate with architecture-team to draft, implement, and promote cross-cutting solutions for all services in the enterprise, leveraging a wide range of technologies.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
You are a quick learner, comfortable working independently and collaboratively on teams, have a passion for delivering quality solutions and constantly motivated to innovate and improve.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major is required
6+ years experience in building distributed Java/J2EE client-server applications.
In-depth experience with SQL and RDBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL).
XML and XSLT
Experienced with object-relational mapping technologies like Hibernate.
Familiarity with RESTful architecture concepts.

 

Additional expertise in following technologies a big plus
Splunk
Groovy
Java Messaging Services (JMS) and messaging middleware.
Technical mentorship abilities
