Position : COBOL IMS Programmer
Location : Topeka KS
Duration : 12 Months
Project Description :
We are currently engaged in a very large project to implement a
Benefit Repository System to streamline the setup of new products, new
groups and eligibility. We are also moving existing mainframe
applications to browser based technology and replacing our existing
IMS databases with zOS DB2 databases.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- Very Strong IMS experience
- Strong COBOL experience
- JCL
- Good communication skills
- Self-starter, willing to dig in and figure things out
HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Agile methodology
- Understanding of Health Insurance and/or HIPAA transactions
