About the Senior Software Engineer Position:
• Play a key role in steering the technical direction of a young, fast-moving company as it continues to scale
• Build unique and original products with problem solving and creativity
• Learn new skills and new technologies and use the right tools to solve problems.
• Build high-performance, scalable malware detection application and APIs on top of a patented platform.
• Participate in the planning, analysis, design, development and deployment of product features and enhancements.
Required Skills/Experience for the Senior Software Engineer Position:
• Senior software design/development skills in C++
• Senior software design/development skills in Java
• Experience with OO development and SQL and NoSQL design/development
• 3+ years experience with deployed/onsite software and or appliance
• 3+ years experience with network traffic monitoring
• Background in agile development methodologies
• Need to understand and design/develop on the system-wide architecture
Skills/Experience Pluses:
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to solve hard problems and refuse to give up
• Experience in heuristic analysis
• Knowledge of Rete inference engine
• Mongo DB
• Open Source Technologies
