Position: Business Analyst
Location: Vernon Hills
Duration: 9 months

Key Features:
• Single Web Interface - Allows easy access to data for all users
• Informal Routing – Provides ability to seek advice/feedback by routing within the system
• Standardized Comprehensive Electronic Lifecycles - that can be used for all Business items (Package, Parts, Studies, and Documents)
• Collaboration Lifecycle – provides ability to:
o Work with others to refine content outside formal approval process to minimize reject cycles
o Monitor items throughout the Collaboration Lifecycle
• Approve & Release Lifecycle – provides ability to:
o Obtain formal (final) approval on all Business items (e.g., Package, Parts, Studies, and Documents)
o Monitor items throughout the Approve & Release Lifecycle
• PDF rendering of all Microsoft Office documents – providing PDF markup capability
• Search for a list of items – ability to search for up to 10 items at a time via the Advance Search function
• Save Searches - allows users to perform searches based on a defined set of criteria that are saved for future searches
• Bookmark - items for future/easy access to data
• Multi select items to perform a particular action - For example: A user can select multiple items and create a subscription to these items
• Simplified security and vault structure -
BPLM utilizes three (3) vaults (Work In Process Vault, Release [public] Vault, and Private Vault) for managing and maintaining data; and there are two (2) types of user groups (Authors and Consumers)
• Organization - An organization is used to specify a user or group within the system and to control access rights in the BPLM System.

VDK (Virtual Document Kiosk) is a SharePoint bases application that allows access to BPLM content.

• Manuals (including CQPs)
• Procedure Specs
• Forms (including CQFs, CQIs, and CQTs)
• Job Aids
• Labels (including Service Manuals)
• Class B, C, and Unclassified Studies & Study Related Documents
• Material Evaluation Reports

Summary: Approval received as part of the Gemini effort.
Analyze business processes.
Identify, evaluate, develop and or redesign systems and procedures to meet user requirements.
Create detailed written user requirements for developers.
Provide consultation to customers on business process redesign.
Assist in the development of system documentation and training materials as well as training processes.
