Position: Sr. Java Developer with Airlines Domain

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 12+ Months

                                     

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

•         Thorough understanding of product life cycle and development processes; working knowledge of test methodologies such as integration, system testing

•         Ability to participate in discussions with cross functional teams (engineering and non-engineering)

•         Creative approach to complex problem solving and troubleshooting

•         Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

•         Work alongside other SWA application tech leads and architects to ensure seamless delivery of technical solution

•         Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment with onsite/offshore model

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of work experience in developing J2EE/JEE applications

• 2+ years of experience with Agile Scrum software development methodology

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment and take on new assignments with minimal direction

 

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Apache Tomcat application server

• Experience in the Airline industry/domain
