Position: SAP Basis & Securit Consultant

Location: Hartford, CT

Type: Contract (3-6 Months)

Job Description :

• Expertise in Basis administration and operational control for support and maintenance of production environments and implementation projects
  - Participate in the business planning activities (budgets, project and resource planning) as needed
  - Implement procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery operations for the SAP systems
  - Strong technical skills in SAP Upgrades, System copies, SAP performance tuning, Authorization setup, TMS admin, Language support, Applying Patches, Backup and Restore, etc.
  - Develop and support Hot Pack and patch application strategy
  - Experience with deploying and leveraging Solution manager, Tidal Batch Scheduler and SAP Archiving
  - Ensuring adherence to methodology, change control, and compliance requirements
  - Creating and maintaining policies and procedures, adhering to security requirements and supporting the Company in insuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance within the SAP domain
  - Working with the controller's office to monitor and prevent Segregation of Duties issues within the assigned user roles
  - Work with the Basis Team, internal and external auditors to document and test the effectiveness of the Segregation of Duties infrastructure for the SAP environment
  - Ensure compliance with all UTC Security policies, procedures, and standards
  - Effective at managing outsourcing relationships and related support models
