Job Description

Under limited supervision, interfaces with business leaders and end-users from corporate departments and business units to scope, design, implement and manage the project to deliver BI solutions to the business. Requires in-depth technical expertise with all aspects of the solution design and implementation, including requirements definition, data acquisition processes, data modeling, process automation, escalation procedures, construction and deployment.

We are looking for the following:

ETL Developer versed in the Cognos BI Suite of tools which includes:

Data Manager
Framework Manager
Cognos Connection
Cognos Report Studio
Cognos Event Studio
SQL Server 2008

• Detailed business requirements gathering process, requirements definition and approval.
• Formulation of highly detailed BI/DW solutions which can be practically implemented.
• Creation and management of detailed project plans used to drive successful project completion.
• Works with business leaders and end-users to identify areas to leverage Business Intelligence.
• Implements an effective metadata layer which bridges the business-technical information gap.
• Designs, develops and implements a self-service information delivery model using portal.
• Designs KPIs, scorecards, dashboards and performance management strategy maps.
• Identifies and implements solutions to enhance the existing BI infrastructure processes and technology
• Requires close interaction with the business groups and technical teams
• Requires interfacing with key business systems.
