Position:- Sr. Software Engineer

Location: Glendale, California

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

 

Build an internal location management tool that will allow users to manipulate geographical boundaries of locations on a map and save the resulting set of latitude/longitude coordinates to a DB integrated with YP's search serving platform. UI features need to support:- Simple search by location name and location type- View desired polygons on a map- Alter and redraw the polygon by dragging individual points or lines on the map- Alter and redraw the polygon by adding or removing individual coordinates on the map- Support location renaming and aliasing- Record an audit trail of changes made

 

Mandatory:

- Strong UI and JavaScript coding skills (Minimum 3-5 years)
- Java (Preferably JDK7+; Minimum 3 years)
- DB/SQL (Oracle)
- Document code and system designs.
- Bachelors / Master's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field

 

Desired:

- Google Maps API
- Spring
