Duration :   6+ Months contract

Job Description :

MUST HAVE skills/technologies and related years of experience:

1. +8 Years in the software development field
2. Python developer +3 years experience
3. Proficient with HTTP web service and RESTful software design
4. Proficient with SQL query language
5. Experience with git revision control system
6. Proficiency in Linux systems and administration

MUST HAVE soft skills:

1. Must be self motivated
2. Good communication skills verbal, written
3. Good teamwork skills with a desire to collaborate closely with others to achieve the best possible outcome
4. Passion for excellence
5. Desire to grow professionally through the development of best practices

Preferred but NOT mandatory skills:
1. Web UI Development skills (javascript, angular, query)
2. Experience running diagnosing RabbitMQ issues
3. Experience using and deploying iSCSI and related technologies
4. Established history in an open source project
5. Understanding

or experience with OpenStack or other virtualization technologies

 

MUST HAVE skills/technology (proficient to expert):

• Experience interacting with multiple API's to pull and normalize disparate data sources.
• Exp. Designing user friendly frontends in HTML5
• Exp. Designing database-driven web apps in Python
• Exp. Storing and retrieving the data from a relational database or NoSQL database

MUST HAVE soft skills:
• Exp. taking non-technical requirements and translating them into application code req. and implementing them.
• Able to design/develop/present project plan and sprint schedule.
• Self-driven

Preferred but NOT mandatory skills:
• Exp. Developing for Security related projects
• Exp. Developing web apps that interface with Tenable SecurityCenters API
